We got great value for our money with a comfortable room and an excellent rain shower. The location was convenient, close to shops and bars, and the staff treated us very nicely, even allowing us to check in early.
The hotel breakfast menu could have been improved with more options.

Maitre D' very knowledgable and provided excellent service. Good food.
Ensuite facilities, in particular the small size of the toilet. Price of wines excessive.

The location in the centre of an interesting seaside village. Pleasant outdoor seating area for restaurant.
Room was small with very cramped toilet and bathroom facilities. Decor in room past its best.

I loved the spacious room at this hotel, especially the excellent large balcony that offered a great view. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was outstanding, with quality coffee and a wide variety of choices, including eggs cooked to your liking.
All was great, nothing to complain about.

Very good position, easy to park. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.
The toilet was extremely cramped and there was inadequate lighting in the bathroom which had a sliding door, but excellent shower.

I visited this hotel during Easter and enjoyed two things: the covered pool and the spa. the location was also great, close to shops and bars, and a short walk to the beach through peaceful houses and gardens. I liked that the hotel had a traditional French seaside vibe that made me feel like I was truly on vacation.
My experience was mostly negative. the room I stayed in seemed to have outdated furniture, and the linen was grayish and unpleasant.

the hotel had a charming traditional French seaside atmosphere that I really enjoyed. the room was spacious and had ample space to store our bags. the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. the rain shower in the room was excellent and added a luxurious touch. We also had a delicious meal at the on, site restaurant, although it was slightly on the expensive side. the hotel's location was convenient, with shops and bars within easy reach.
Cons: Nothing that I didn't like.

The location was decently close to town, but not very close to the city center. I was in the area on business in the winter, so it was the dead season, but I could tell it was just off the main street and near to the bus stop. the room was clean and had ample storage, but the furniture was old and uncoordinated. the bathroom had a decent power shower, but the linen was a little dirty. the staff was friendly and welcoming, but the breakfast left a lot to be desired.
The pool and outdoor area were untidy and unappealing.

Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Easy to commute, there is a bus stop nearby, and the pool and spa were nice, clean and pleasant. The staff was very helpful and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable.
The hotel could use some updating as the décor feels old and uninviting. The room was not clean and the bed sheets were not white.

We stayed at Hotel De La Mer for a week as a beach getaway. Despite the older building, our room was clean and peaceful. The staff was exceptionally friendly and let us check-in early. The patio and pool seemed like lovely spots to relax, and the location was convenient for accessing nearby beaches. The meals in the garden were a delightful bonus, and the quality of the food was excellent. a pleasant surprise.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely time staying at this traditional French seaside hotel. Best aspects included the hotel's cleanliness, convenient location just off the main street with easy access to two different beaches, and friendly staff who were always there to help. The breakfast was also quite good and we enjoyed it each morning.
Not one thing was negative about our stay here. we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this city for a relaxing beach vacation.
